Dr Arjuna Rajasingham – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Dr Arjuna Rajasingham graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1999. He is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, New Zealand Dentists Orthodontic Society, New Zealand Institute of Minimally Invasive Dentistry (founding member), New Zealand Society of Sedative Dentistry and The World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry (life time member and diplomat). He has now completed his residency in Full Face Orthodontics.
He along with Dr Adam Durning are the directors of The Dentists Dental Group.
Arjuna brings to the dentists a wealth of knowledge from his extensive training in all disciplines of dentistry from all over the world.
He regularly travels nationally and internationally forever trying to increase his knowledge and skills in dentistry.
Dr Tony Lin – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Tony graduated from the University of Otago in 2015 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Born in Taiwan and moved to New Zealand when he was 14. He attended Auckland Grammar School before heading down to Dunedin for dental degree. He enjoys all aspects dentistry and has special interest on dental prosthetic, root canal treatment and cosmetic dentistry.
Tony believes modern dentistry is about patient comfort and quality service. He aims to provide the best care to all patients with latest technology. Tony attends courses frequently to keep up-to-date with the latest dental technology and clinical research. He also has publications in Journal of Dental Research, Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and Journal of Dental Education.
Tony is a member of New Zealand Dental Association and New Zealand Institute of Minimal Invasive Dentistry.

Dr Alastair Miller – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Alastair graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Otago University in 1988.
Upon graduating he then worked in Hamilton and London before returning to his home town of Wellington where he worked in dental practice for close to 20 years. Alastair’s last 13 years whilst in the Wellington region was at Coastlands Dental Health on the Kapiti Coast.
Alastair moved to Tauranga in 2012 for the opportunity to join the group at The Dentists, the lifestyle the Bay of Plenty has to offer and to be closer to extended family.
He is a member of the NZDA and enjoys working in an up to date practice with state of the art equipment. Alastair relishes the opportunity to build on his 23 years of dentistry by utilising the latest technology that The Dentists offers which also benefits his patients. His aim is to always provide quality dentistry in a gentle and relaxed environment.

Dr Stewart Edward – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Dr. Stewart Edward graduated from the School of Dentistry, University of Otago. He joined the practice of Ian Fowler in 1971 and continued in his own practice until 2011. He then joined The Dentist Pukaki from the time and works full time providing general dentistry.
Stewart has a background in health administration both for the dental profession being a past president of the New Zealand Dental Association and for the health sector.
He is a former chair of the Lakes District Health Board, a Justice of the Peace, awarded a Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship Award in 1997 and has been appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 1997 for services to the community. He is a life member of the New Zealand Dental Association.
Dr Becky Dimock – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Becky gained her B.DS with distinction, graduating from Otago University in 2012.
Originally born in South Africa she moved to New Zealand at a young age. She grew up in the small town of Masterton in the Wairarapa before moving to Dunedin to continue her studies.
Becky is very friendly and interested in providing a positive dental experience for each and every one of her patients, striving to meet all their treatment needs. She likes to focus on minimally invasive dentistry, early detection of potential problems and patient education. “I believe if people are educated in how dental problems occur, how they can be prevented, how they can be solved then they become a lot more engaged in the process and take more responsibility in their dental treatment”.
Becky is very involved and enthusiastic in continued professional development and education. “We are all continually learning. I enjoy learning about new technology and techniques that I can use to help provide my patients with a more effective and more pleasant dental experience”.
Dr Danny Lee – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Danny gained his BDS with distinction, graduating from Otago University in 2015 followed by his move to Rotorua in 2016.
He was born and bred on the busy streets of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia for the past 20 years before deciding to move to Otago to study and pursue a career in dentistry.
Danny is a very caring and interactive dentist, who ensures his patients receive oral health education as well as treatment. “I have always believed in the old adage that prevention is better than cure. The philosophy of dentistry has changed over the years from the typical “drill-and-fill” mode to a medical model which emphasises preventative treatment and a more conservative approach. It is very important to me that patients understand the different types of dental diseases and adopt lifestyles and habits that improve their oral health.”
Danny is an avid football fan, supporting Arsenal football club since he was 7 years old. He currently trains and plays for Rotorua United. Also due to his love of the outdoors, he makes the most of the numerous tramping trails around Rotorua and the district.
Dr Mark Loh – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Mark graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2016. Born in a Malaysian town renowned for its satay skewers, his family moved to Auckland when he was 10 years of age.
Mark’s interest in the dental profession began all the way back in primary school, where he would accompany his older siblings to their dental appointments. After receiving orthodontic treatment himself from the age of 9, he decided that dentistry was what he wanted to pursue from that early age. “I believed that I was more able to empathise with patients, having gone through a lot of the treatments myself.” As an easy-going yet diligent individual, Mark strives to do all his work with excellence and integrity, and with the patient’s best interest in mind.
Aside from dentistry, Mark is a passionate badminton fan and player, having played the sport competitively for almost ten years now. He also enjoys an occasional game of table tennis and soccer.
Dr Shu Jin Ee – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Shu Jin graduated from the School of Dentistry, University of Otago in 2015. Born and raised in Malaysia, she moved to Dunedin to study and has recently relocated to Wanganui to join the team at The Dentists.
She enjoys all aspect of dentistry is passionate about delivering high quality patient oriented dentistry. She based her practice on minimally invasive approach where patient education is key, allowing problems to be detected early and managed with a conservative manner. “I believe being able to smile confidently makes a huge difference in someone’s life and those around them. Therefore, that is what I aspire to do, putting smiles back on people’s faces. With the availability of various dental technology here at The Dentists, I strive to make your time here an enjoyable one.”
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys going for outdoor walks and tramps, travelling, cooking and enjoying a home cooked meal with friends and family.

Dr Adam Durning – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Dr Adam Durning graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 1990. A year later he moved to Wanganui having bought into a group practice. He is now Co-Director of The dentists dental group.
He is a life member of the World Congress of Micro Dentistry and after passing their exams was accepted as a Diplomat. In 2001 he was elected as a Board Member of World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, today he is their Treasurer. After much learning and travel overseas he developed the training program for new laser users within New Zealand and Australia of which he is the Clinical Trainer.
In November 2002, due to the increasing number of Laser users in New Zealand, he felt there was a need for a formal structure and organisation and consequently founded the New Zealand Institute of Laser Dentistry of which he is the President.
This year he was elected as Vice President of the Australasian branch of the World Clinical Laser Institute.
Dr Ying-Ta (Mark) Huang – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Dr Mark Huang came to live in New Zealand from Taiwan in 1995 to pursue a better education and living environment and is “exceedingly satisfied with the opportunities New Zealand has offered”.
Mark graduated from Otago University in 2004 and even though he had no family or friends in Wanganui, he decided to move here because he wanted the opportunity to work with Dental Lasers in one of the most up to date practices in New Zealand. Mark believes in regular check-ups, early detection of decay and minimally invasive treatment. In the past three years Mark has been treating patients with I.V sedation, micro air-abrasion and CEREC (computer aided porcelain restorations). He enjoys the efficiency and quality treatments the laser technology brings.
Mark says “I am very thankful for the technology. There is no comparison to the treatment this technology provides. The dental laser especially has enhanced my performance and has helped me to treat my patients in a less invasive and more comfortable way”.
Dr Jareth Lau – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Dr Jareth Lau was born in Wellington and lived there until moving to Dunedin to study dentistry. He graduated from the University of Otago in 2012 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction.
“After a week spent in the Wanganui practice during my final year of university, I was convinced it was the perfect environment for providing great dental care. Our practice is well-equipped, so I can always offer the best treatment with the latest technology.”
Jareth moved to Wanganui in 2013 to join the team at The Dentists. He is able to provide IV sedation, wisdom teeth removal, CEREC single visit porcelain crowns and cosmetic dentistry, in addition to general dental care.

Dr Regan Leslie – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Regan is originally from Christchurch. After Dental School, he and his wife Namiko spent 6 years in Wanganui before moving to the Hawkes Bay in December 2015. Regan and Namiko have two young daughters and enjoy spending time with friends and family.
He is a member of NZ Dental Association, NZ Society of Sedation in Dentistry, and is a fellow of the International Dental Implant Association.
Regan has had a lot of experience with complex dental problems and has undergone advanced training in Dental Implants, IV Sedation, Tooth Extractions and Smile Makeovers.
He has volunteered on missionary trips to South America to help provide treatment to underprivileged people and has also spent time working in New Zealand prisons.
Regan is continuously learning through professional education courses around the world and is proud to be able to provide an exceptional level of care for the people of Hawkes Bay.
Dr Priyena Singh – Dentist (BDS Otago)
Priyena just recently located to the lovely Hawke’s Bay region, and has been thoroughly enjoying exploring the place and interacting with its friendly people. Originally from Fiji, Priyena was trained in New Zealand and her goal from the start has been to practice the highest standard of dentistry for her patients and make sure they enjoy the process and have a great experience at the clinic.
Priyena currently enjoys all aspects of general dental practice and maintains her knowledge by attending professional development courses & being a member of the NZDA. Gloria graduated from University of Otago and has been working in private practice in Taupo and Auckland. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a special interest in restorative and preventative dentistry. She is passionate about learning new techniques and technology to provide quality dental services to all her patients. When Gloria is not working on teeth, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She spends her spare time running, swimming, baking sweet treats, café hunting and watching the latest on Netflix. Gloria also loves travelling and has a keen interest in volunteer work, having provided dental services to rural villages in both Vietnam and Myanmar.
Dr Sirija Reddy – Dentist (BDS M.DS India)
Dr.Sirija Reddy, fondly known as Siri graduated from India.
Being a woman she was more interested in cosmetic dentistry and smile designing so this made her choose to specialize in Orthodontics and she has completed a Master’s Degree in Orthodontics in India.
She started her career in New Zealand in March 2012.
Siri is very keen to learn all the latest technology and always keeps herself updated, a quick learner; she masters the newer technology with perfection.
She is known for her gentle and caring approach towards her patients and tends to treat her patients in a similar way she would like to be treated.
Being a Jack of all trades, she also believes in doing holistic dentistry and has been trained by Dr.Simon Wenley.
Putting this altogether it makes the patient happy and smile with more confidence.
Siri has been happily married for 4 years and enjoys travelling and cooking.
